Stir-fried Green Peas and Corn
Summary:
This is a vibrant and refreshing vegetarian stir-fry, combining the crisp texture of green peas with the natural sweetness of corn for a simple yet nutritious dish.
Ingredients:
Green peas 150g (fresh or frozen)
Sweet corn kernels 150g (fresh or frozen)
Red bell pepper 50g (diced)
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Vegetarian oyster sauce 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
Water as needed
Instructions:
1.Prepare ingredients:
Rinse and drain the green peas and corn kernels. Dice the red bell pepper.
2.Blanching:
Bring a pot of water to a boil, blanch the green peas and corn for 1 minute, then drain.
3.Stir-frying:
Heat oil in a pan, add the red bell pepper and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Then, add the green peas and corn, and stir well.
4.Adding seasonings:
Pour in soy sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce, salt, and white pepper powder. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until well combined.
5.Finish and serve:
Turn off the heat, transfer to a plate, and enjoy this sweet and crunchy dish as a side or main course.
