Cold Dressed Noodles
Summary:
This is a refreshing and quick vegetarian cold noodle dish, featuring smooth noodles mixed with fresh vegetables and a flavorful dressing.
Ingredients:
Thin wheat noodles 200g
Cucumber 50g (julienned)
Red bell pepper 50g (julienned)
Soy sauce 1.5 tbsp
Rice vinegar 1 tbsp
Vegetarian oyster sauce 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
Sesame oil 1 tbsp
White sesame seeds to garnish
Instructions:
1.Boil the noodles:
Bring a pot of water to a boil, cook the noodles for about 3-4 minutes until fully cooked, then drain and rinse under cold water.
2.Prepare vegetables:
Wash and julienne the cucumber and red bell pepper.
3.Make the dressing:
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, vegetarian oyster sauce, salt, white pepper powder, and sesame oil. Stir well.
4.Combine ingredients:
Place the cooked noodles in a large bowl, add the cucumber and red bell pepper, then pour in the dressing and mix thoroughly.
5.Finish and serve:
Sprinkle with white sesame seeds, let sit for 5 minutes to absorb flavors, and serve.
