Braised Vegetarian Meat with Cilantro

Summary:

This is a fragrant and tender vegetarian dish, where plant-based meat absorbs the unique aroma of cilantro, making it a flavorful and nutritious option.

Ingredients:

Vegetarian meat 200g (soy protein-based, soaked and cut into chunks)
Cilantro 100g (chopped)
Red bell pepper 50g (sliced)
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Vegetarian oyster sauce 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
Water as needed

Instructions:

1.Prepare ingredients:
Soak the vegetarian meat, squeeze out excess water, and cut into chunks. Wash and chop the cilantro, and slice the red bell pepper.

2.Pan-fry vegetarian meat:
Heat a little oil in a pan, add the vegetarian meat, and pan-fry over low heat until slightly golden. Set aside.

3.Stir-fry red bell pepper:
Add more oil to the pan, stir-fry the red bell pepper until slightly softened.

4.Braising:
Add the pan-fried vegetarian meat, then season with soy sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce, salt, and white pepper powder. Stir well and add water. Simmer for 5 minutes until fully infused with flavors.

5.Finishing:
Add the chopped cilantro, toss quickly, and turn off the heat once the cilantro slightly wilts. Serve immediately.
